Extra bathroom or garage

Amina Saify
Posted

Hello, I am looking for a rental property in greater Atlanta area. I am seeing a lot of 3bd/1ba with garage or 3bd/2ba with parking driveway (uncovered). Should I prioritize an extra bathroom or having a garage? Personally I wouldn’t want to live in a 3bd/1ba. Previously I have owned a 3bd/1.5ba townhouse ( greater Seattle area) with a garage that did really well. Any thoughts? TIA.

Hi @Amina Saify, I agree with you about the bathrooms.  The more the better but it will depend on the local market if they prefer garages.  One solution I can think of is if you get a 3/2 and add a carport or cover part of the driveway.
