Has AirBnB's changes impacted getting paid?

I am using a new property manager because I wasn't happy with the one I've been using the last couple of years, but I am wondering why am I not getting any bookings and last year at this time I had like half the month of March booked. I did a search on the various booking sites and could not find mine on AirBnB, when I inquired I was told that the owner doesn't like using AirBnB because "Basically it takes a very long time in order to get the rents. They also take total control of all the bookings".  Many other condo owners have a lot of bookings and I have a much nicer condo than theirs, so now I feel like I made a mistake.  The property manager came highly rated and I felt lucky to get in with them, but now I am very concerned and is keeping me up at night.  Is there any truth to this?  I am not doing any bookings myself and I have considered it, but if there is a problem with the changes that AirBnB made last year, I'd like to know before I do anything drastic and without being informed.
