Section 8 tenant does not want to leave after lease expires

Section 8 tenant, section 8 pays full rent. Lease expires March 31st. She has 5 kids ( kids have been destroying the house so I did not renew after 2 years )

I have new tenant selected for mid April after I fix up the house. ( she is great and I don’t want to miss the opportunity of having this tenant)

Current tenant says she hasn’t been able to find a house so she can not leave because she can not be on the street with her 5 kids.

What can I do ???

Let her know that if she violates the agreement and refuses to stay, she can be reported to the housing authority and risks losing her voucher. Then she'll end up on the streets with her five kids for a longer period of time.

I have so much to say, but I'll leave it at that.
