Can property manager be held responsible for slip and fall?

Hi,

Got a letter from an attorney saying a Door Dash delivery person slipped and fell and injured himself severely on my property (RI).

My property manager is responsible for clearing the snow off the property. Can they be held responsible for that?
Isn't Door Dash providing insurance for workers, or am I responsible anyway since thee was allegedly neglect?

I forwarded the letter to my insurance company, I don't have an LLC, just an umbrella.

Thanks!

Anyone can sue for anything at any time. Just because you've been sued doesn't mean you're actually liable.

You are responsible for your property managers actions, no matter what the management agreement says. If they are responsible for shoveling the walks and didn't, you can be held liable. If they hired a company to do it and the company did not, then you may be able to deflect liability to that contractor. There are too many questions to know how to answer.

Just contact your insurance provider and explain the situation. You want them and their attorneys to deal with this. Your Property Manager should do the same. Don't respond to Door Dash, the driver, or the attorney.
