Can I make a section 8 tenant pay HOA?

I purchased a condo in a seasonal community where many snow birds travel to in the winter. It is located in Lakeshore Floirda and I want to find out if it will be difficult getting a section 8 tenant to move in and pay the HOA of $174/mo plus the rent?
Since this community attracts snow birds and it is mostly seasonal will I not attract a long term tenant through section 8?

I do not pass along HOA cost to the tenant, I've actually never seen anyone pass it along that I know of. If they don't pay I'm the one with the lien and 10% interest accruing. It gets indirectly passed along anyway since it effects the price you pay for the condo and that they will pay for the rental and its amenities.
