Minnesota CRP caretaker

Hello-We are moving out-of-state in 2021 and considering giving a tenant reduced rent in exchange for caretaking duties.  I noticed this has to be recorded on the CRP form for Minnesota.  Can anyone explain what effects this has for my caretaking tenant and for me, the landlord, next year?  Why does Minnesota want this information?
