Florida rental properties

I’m trying to look out of state to purchase a rental property in Florida and wanted to see where some good places would be based off of peoples own experiences with rentals down in Florida. Anyone’s experience would help with the areas well known but if you have rental experience down there I’d love as much information. Let me know the general area you’re in and how your rentals are going aswell as the safety in the neighborhood if you’d like.

Thank you

@Tyler Bougie I have properties that I own across Central Florida, as in Orlando, St Pete/Tampa markets. Were you looking at short term, long term, single family, multi family or commercial? I personally have all long term, with multi, commercial and single family in my portfolio. Have done exceptionally well for mine which are a buy and hold strategy.
Because it is competitive, I usually try and look for value add and be competitive in my offer without paying too much on the front side, just takes consistently making legitimate offers without breaking the bank and making sure I have cash flow.

Do your research and look at different markets
