STR RV/Tiny House/Airstreamer

I am looking to potentially start a business through STR of an Airstreamer or tiny house of some sort.

I’m wondering about the price of buying land, getting it zoned for a property, and hooking up electrical and septic tanks. This would be potentially Big Bear or Joshua Park.

Has anyone done anything similar to this and would be willing to give insight into their experience?

Hi Danny. I live in Big Bear, and I haven't heard or seen of any STF via a trailer or tiny home. I know the zoning is pretty strict on those. I know of a trailer park where you actually purchase your own space and can put a trailer there (Big Bear Shores, I think). I'm not sure they would allow vacation rental usage for the trailer though. The words "vacation rental," Airbnb" and "short-term rentals" are kind of sore spots among the Big Bear locals right now. :-)
