Hello

I am really interested in buy and hold investing in Puerto Rico. The San Juan area is where I’m thinking of starting. Any information about the market would be greatly appreciated.

I currently invest in Des Moines, Iowa but would eventually be moving to the island.

Thanks so much

Hi. It really depends if you want to live in the tourist area or you are ok a bit outside but in San Juan. Also depends if you're looking for a home or apartment.
If you only looking in San Juan, then everyone will probably recommend: Old San Juan, Miramar, Condado, Ocean Park or Isla Verde. (all walkable areas)
Outside the regular recommendations there are very good neighborhoods about 6-12 min drive.

Sent you a PM. Feel free to ask anything.
