How to make sure roof work was done properly?
Hello all, we'd like to see how to make sure a recent roof work was done properly: should we hire a different roofing company to inspect the recent roof work, or a general home inspection company, or maybe other options? Thank you for your time, and any input is much appreciated!

I would hire an independent roof consultant or a roof inspection company. They will be unbiased. I would not hire another roofing company. There is a good chance that they will not be objective with their inspection. I also would not hire a home inspector. Most of them have a limited knowledge of roofing and very few that I have met even get on the roof.
