Money Order Lost in the mail

Hey BP,

Just wondering if anyone has come across the issue of a tenant paying with a money order and claimed they mailed it out.  It has been two weeks since they mailed it out and we still did not receive the money order.  She cannot cancel a money order and get her money back.  Any idea on what to do?  Going forward I will make sure I pick up the rent from this woman or make her get checks in order to avoid this situation next time.

If it’s a post office money order it can be replaced for $6.25 according to their website. (It can’t be cancelled, but it can be replaced with a new one to same recipient.)
