Lead paint notice from the City of Milwaukee

Hi everyone, I just received a notice from the city of Milwauke that they found a lead paint at my property. The inspection was done back in August. As far as I know they have to ask a Landlord for a permission to enter the premises which I haven’t received. Is it legal? Isn’t it trespassing?

Now they’ve sent me a letter with 30 days due date saying “You must replace 15 windows containing this lead paint”. However, you can’t just hire a regular company for this job it must be a Wisconsin certified lead-abatement contractor. It’s just ridiculous!

Are any of you guys have dealt with this ********?

Any advice? I apologize for my language but it’s unbelievable. Thank you in advance!

the tenant most likely contacted them.  the city does not need to notify you.  often tenants call for lead if a kid tests high for lead when a blood test is done.  you can call and get an extension, but sadly once you have an order it must be abated and the rules are aweful on who you can use.
