Hi everyone, I just received a notice from the city of Milwauke that they found a lead paint at my property. The inspection was done back in August. As far as I know they have to ask a Landlord for a permission to enter the premises which I haven’t received. Is it legal? Isn’t it trespassing?

Now they’ve sent me a letter with 30 days due date saying “You must replace 15 windows containing this lead paint”. However, you can’t just hire a regular company for this job it must be a Wisconsin certified lead-abatement contractor. It’s just ridiculous!

Are any of you guys have dealt with this ********?

Any advice? I apologize for my language but it’s unbelievable. Thank you in advance!

Hello everyone I have recently received an escrow shortage on my property. Is there anyway to deal with it? what is your experience? I already have talked to the city assessor and still haven't received anything back from him. My mortgage payment increased by almost $300. It's crazy due to all this going on right now. Thank you

Thank you for all replies. According to the current lease agreement there are more people living in unit than it should be.That’s a violation either they move out or I have a reason to kick them out.

Hello everyone, I'm currently under the contract of buying another 4 unit property. During the home inspection I didn't like the way tenants lived and treated their place. It smelled terrible everything was in very bad condition. Is there a way to kick them out of my potential property before the title gets transfered on my name. I also checked their names and they have eviction on their records in a past. The property is in Wisconsin. Thank you for all replies!

Thank all of you for replies!

Hello, I have a tenant not paying rent on time. I gave him a 5-day notice already and this month he didn’t pay rent on time again. I want him to move out as quickly as possible. The property is in Wisconsin. Does anyone know how to do it right?

After I spoke with a local lawyer and did my own research I’m a little confused. The lawyer says that you have to give a 5-day notice two times and then file the eviction despite the Wisconsin Eviction Post that I found on Milwaukee county website which says 5-day notice, 14-day notice pay or vacate and then file an eviction. Anyone can help me what is the right way of doing it?
