Delay in water coming out of kitchen sink

Hi guys!

I have the weirdest issue with my kitchen sink.

When I turn it on the water trickles for a split second and then nothing. I can either keep the spout on and eventually water will run out 30-60 seconds later. If i turn the handle off I can hear a reboot of sorts. Sounds like air rushing out and when I turn the handle on again the water flows freely. How do I fix this?

I have already cleaned out the aerator and its clean.

The problem ONLY happens in the kitchen sink. All other faucets and sinks run perfectly normal.

The problem also seems to be getting worse in terms of the time it takes to turn on.
