Injury Claim by Tenant

Hello Everyone,

My NY MFH recently caught fire. It was discovered as an electrical issue which was no fault of the tenant. Tenant where the fire happened had to jump out of the window which caused her some injuries. While i am in the process of an insurance claim about the fire. I just go a letter from the tenant lawyer who is filing an injury claim. I have forwarded the letter to my insurance. Has anyone been through this kind of situation.

Do i need to seek an attorney now or see how it plays out with the insurance company.

What type of attorney do i need? An injury claim lawyer?

hoping to get some insight or tips on how to handle this and what i should be expecting with regards to the injury claim
