Are your tenant screening sources reliable?

I have a few questions for those who use products like Cozy, Avail, Buildium, Rentec Direct, etc., are the "built in" tenant screening services adequate?  Will a stand alone program like Rent Prep be worth the extra effort?  Do they all pull the same information from the same places?  Trying to avoid the horror stories of missed evictions or criminal history.  Thanks in advance.
