What To Do When An Additional Tenant Moves In?
Hello BP community,
Any advice on what to do when one or more additional tenant move-in?
Do I charge more? how much more?
Do they sign an amended lease?
How much do you usually bump up the security deposit?
Thank you!

Get the new tenant to fill out an application, run the background check and get them on the lease. If their background is terrible, give your current tenant a written notice about how your lease does not allow adults not on the lease to reside there longer than 14 days in a calendar year (you do have that on your lease right?). If that doesn’t work, you might have to decide if you are going to evict over it or not.
