When should I get the lease signed?

I listed my house for rent yesterday, and within a couple hours, I showed/screened and accepted a tenant. She is scheduled to move in on August 1st. Ive had about 50 people reach out, so I am a little hesitant to just take her word for it that she will move in, so when should I have her sign the lease?  Do we sign the lease soon and just make it active as of August 1, or do I wait the 2 weeks and hope she doesnt change her mind?  I am located in Wisconsin, if that matters at all.  Looking for any advice and recommendations from the community!

Thanks

@Jordan Epping wow Jordan you screen fast! You got a completed application, copied DL, got paystubs, verified employment, spoke with past LL's, did a BG check, credit check, social media verification all in a few hours? Especially now it pays to be more thorough than ever.

She may indeed be great or she might be a professional tenant. She might be fronting for her drug addict/criminal friend, son etc. She might not be who she says she is.

Back to the lease.........have everyone over 18 sign and collect the move in fee (first, last and security deposit) in certified funds prior to move in. Never do a lease signing without at least a full security deposit. All the best!
