Garbage around dumpster
On a 12 unit complex, we have a once-a-week, 8 yard dumpster track pickup. I've noticed it's almost always full when I visit the property, and bags are left lying outside of the dumpster. I spoke with the pickup company, and the drivers are instructed not to leave the truck.
We've almost receive photo evidence of a rogue dumper from nearby community. So there may be an additional strain on the capacity.
Any suggestions? It's frustrating because I'm not 100% what the source of the problem is.
Just spit balling ideas....
- signs
- community newsletter explaining problem and asking feedback
- increase size of the dumpster
- install cameras and actual monitor the dumpster
- install fake cameras to discourage rogue dumping.
