Covid-19 Rent Concessions Commercial Properties

Hey guys-

We own commercial properties (warehouse and strip malls).  We've already offered discounts and deferred payments to some of our smaller businesses.  Now that there is a stimulus package benefiting many small businesses, I am wondering if other landlords have seen less requests for rent concessions.  Are you denying these requests because a stimulus package is available? If you are offering any concessions, are you asking for anything in return?  Are there any good ways you have structured rent concessions?

Also, some of our tenants are larger corporations in categories that may not benefit from the stimulus plan.  Because of this, it's difficult to deny some of their rent concession requests.  Is anyone in a similar situation and has offered concessions to these type of tenants?  If so, what types of concessions have you offered these tenants and have you asked for anything in return?

Thanks,

James
