Lease renewal california
Hello,
I have a question about california leases. I’m a new Landlord with a few property’s. I have a tenant that has already renewed a lease for another year. They signed the renewal lease Pryor to April 1. The new lease starts on may 1. The tenant now wants to terminate the lease. Being I have a payment on the property I was trying to negociate to keep them in the property. I tried to reduce the rent payment. They still want to terminate the lease. Are they legally bound to the new lease ? What are my options? What legal documentation will they have to give me for termination.
Thanks for your help.
Sam
