There is a reason Tenants are a protected class.

Apparently it was a company that sent out the letter according to this story: The Morning Call: Nat Hyman apologizes for company letter threatening to evict tenants who don’t pay rent during coronavirus pandemic

And tenants aren’t actually a protected class. They absolutely still should be treated fairly though.
