Tenant wants 220v outlet for clothes dryer

I have a tenant requesting the current 110v outlet be upgraded to a 220/240v outlet for her clothes dryer. I've had previous tenants use a dryer with no reported issues. What is your experience with this? Is this something you would request the tenant pay for considering it is not a safety issue/needs to be repaired? I have been looking for a step up voltage converter as an alternative option, but that doesn't seem realistic for an appliance.

Any decent dryer is 220VAC. You should upgrade this. 110VAC is not normal for a dryer.
Just have an electrician add a breaker and run a new line for the dryer with the appropriate outlet.

Consider this as a necessary investment/upgrade to your property.
