Best dishwasher brand/model for rentals?

Kelsey P.
Posted

I need to replace the dishwasher in one of my SFHs and wanted to know what brand/kind you would recommend.

Whatever you suggest, please do not say Bosch. We do not have a reputable service person in our areas and I spent 8 plus months trying to get my mom's Bosch repaired and it was a nightmare.

Looking forward to your suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I use Amana for all my appliances and have pretty good luck with them. They are usually repairable. After 3-5 years, it's usually cheaper to replace them than to try repairing them.

Higher-end products tend to go out just as often as the cheap ones, in my experience. They are far more expensive to repair and I've had a hard time finding replacement parts.
