About rental agreements

Prashant Sahni
Posted

Hi guys! I’m a new rental property investor based out of San Antonio, TX. Just bought my first rental and looking for some guidance as to managing it.

I’ve signed up for tenant cloud but I’m confused about how to go about the process. I know they offer lease agreements but I’m not even sure what documents I need to start the applications with aside from the lease agreement. I’ve heard about documenting the condition of the property and all but really have no experience here.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

@Prashant Sahni Along with a lease agreement signed by both parties, you should ask your prospective tenants to fill in a rental application so that you can get all the necessary information about the tenant and then decide if they are suitable renters.

I'm pretty sure Tenantcloud offers online rental applications as well as lease agreement templates.

But prior to doing that, find the article "How to get started with Tenantcloud." It used to be somewhere in their Help Centre.
