Lawn and snow care splitting

Hey all,

So I recently purchased a fourplex that shares a parking lot with another fourplex owned by a different investor. Trying to save on expenses, I am considering reaching out to this investor to offer sharing snow removal and sharing a dumpster versus both of us paying individually for our own services.

My question is, would this be a recommended thing to do? I understand that he would technically be direct competition in the area as our buildings are very similar. I am a new landlord and am unsure if this would be a 'rookie' thing.

Any input would be great!

Thanks!

Travis
