Should the Landlord pay for the weather stripping?

Kelly W.
Posted

Hello!

I’m a new landlord. My tenant is asking me to install the weather stripping to the door. I live out of the state. My management company will hire a maintenance guy to do it if I approve. My tenant is leaving soon cause it’s the end of the lease and she didn’t renew. Should I go ahead to do it anyway?

My townhouse was built in 2006 and is in good condition.

Thank you in advance for your advice!
