Tenant was notified to do repairs 30 days before lease ended and repairs were horrendous!

Two years ago, my tenant's lease was ending and I gave her the proper notification (60 days notice) and wrote her explaining there was an move out inspection (at the time I didn't know you were only suppose to ask) and I also told her I noticed the walls were painted without permission from me and to please paint the walls back to the original condition and to use professional standards. I was thinking of selling the property at the time. She begged me to please let her stay that she loved the property etc... so I told her I would continue to let her stay passed her lease and it would be month to month. I figured I wouldn't be able to sell it because the market was starting to really tank at that time. Fast forward to the present, she gave me a 30 days notice that she was going to terminate her lease and she understood the property has to be cleaned and not have damages in order to get her security deposit back. I wrote her and told her I was sorry to be losing her as a tenant and again to please paint the walls back to the original condition before she moves out. I didn't offer a move out inspection in this email but did give her adequate time in writing to please paint the walls back (actually send it 30 days before her move out). On the day of her lease ending and her returning the keys to me, I walked in the house saw she didn't use primer but painted white quickly on the walls and the color she used prior to painting it was showing through the white paint! Not to mention she dripped paint all over the carpet, baseboards, windows, door frames, electrical fixtures, toilets and shower! I showed the walls to her and she agreed they needed to be painted again and even wrote me in her threatening letter to sue me she knew they were suppose to be painted another coat. I made a video and took lots of pictures. I also had 2 California licensed painters to give me bids so i can provide a fair estimate of the work and even negotiated 200 dollars less for her because they didn't have to prep the carpet I was replacing the floors... the cost for the painting was roughly 1900 and her deposit was 2000. She got upset with me that I wouldn't allowed her husband to come back to do another coat of paint because I explained to her he isn't licensed and doesn't have proper insurance. If he were to get injured on my property he can sue me for the damages I learned from my Realtor. She's now written me a letter saying she will not pay for all the walls and she made a video the day she moved out and got a quote from her own licensed painter and he would only charge 700 so she wants 1300 back or she's suing me for her deposit plus pain and suffering in small claims court. I'm not even charging her for the damage to the carpet and baseboards! I am completely stressed out and not sure what to do. I know I didn't give her a move out inspection notice but I did tell her the walls needed to be painted back giving her reasonable time to do the repairs. Any advice would be great!
