Bought a rental with existing tenants

Hi there! We have been listening to Brandon’s webinars and accepted his 90 day challenge; we closed on our first rental property yesterday! It is a Duplex and the property already has tenants. They are on a month to month lease term. We are going to get them to sign a one year lease tomorrow. We would like to increase the rent and wanted to know how to go about doing this. Does Georgia law require a 60 day notice? If so, would we get the lease signed (for their current rent rate) then the first of November notify them of the increase that will take place in January? We would really appreciate your feedback!
