Lower Bronx rental price?

Friday made two weeks since 3 bedroom apartment in the Bronx was listed.  So far I received about 13 calls only two of which were not from a program.  After diligent phone screening only two callers qualified they had an appropriate family composition given the space, they had good credit, and were hard working and seemingly decent people. One from a program the other a regular renter.  Both of of these individuals however, canceled their appointment yesterday for a showing. One got called into work the other thought the appointment was today but neither mentioned a desire to reschedule and I didn’t bring it up as I rather have a tenant who demonstrates a desire to want to live here.

I am house hacking so it’s critical that I get a solid and decent tenant.  Do you think that I need to reduce  the rental at this time in order to attract more people that are not in programs, since only two called?

FYI rental has all utilities included except electric and cable.  Completely and beautifully renovated. B class neighborhood asking for 2250.

Also, how long does it usually take you to rent your apartments this is my first rental that i put on the market.

Thanks
