Tenant is threatening other tenant. Should I call police?

Hi guys,

I have inherited this crazy tenant, he seemed nice in the beginning but things seem to be getting weird with him.

Lets call him "crazy Joe"

Crazy Joe texted me that he is going to  "put into a hospital another tenant (lets call her Suzie the neighbor)", and he thinks he should start getting violent with her , he also texted me that ALL tenants from the building (not just  Suzie the neighbor)  will be out of the building...Crazy Joe says that Suzie the neighbor attacked his wife, but when I called police they refused to  give me any info... Of course, Suzie the neighbor says she did not do it.

Spoke to my attorney, and she says its ground for eviction of crazy Joe.

Not sure if I should call police or hope he will chill out? (May be he was drunk, or something...)

At the same time, if I dont call the police then may be other tenants live will be in danger?

If I call police, he may get upset with that and do real harm to other tenants? Or to the property...

I feel like I should call police. What do you guys think?

His lease expires on November 1st, should I just call police and not evict him?

I feel like he is searching for ways to sue me, so may be I should try to evict him? For example, he said that his wife almost cut his hand throwing the trash left by neighbors and he, crazy Joe, might be suing me for that. He also said that he will sue me and will put me in jail because I did not protect his family from attacks made by Suzie the neighbor.

Anyway, what would you do?

Call police and start the eviction process? Or just call police and let them handle him, while I wait till his lease expires?

Replied

Had that once so we called the cops showed them the texting & he was arrested for harassment & threatening. He was gone in 30 days.

You have to love social media when they reveal all they have done & plan to do.
