Career Advice- Property Management Options
Hello All,
I am currently in RE sales but would like to get into property management and learn that business as I want to learn the ins and outs of owning/buying rental properties (as that is my goal) as well as earn a more stable income for my family while learning. My question is, when looking at going to work for a property management company, would you recommend going to work for a larger company and work at an apartment complex, or would you recommend I look for a third party PM company and work for that company? My end goal is to own rental properties of my own primarily single family or small multi-family properties. Which route will give me the best exposure to learning the overall business? Thank you all for the comments.
