I have an opportunity to acquire an 8 in a prime location.

It currently holds long-term tenants and does fine.

I will be able to get so much more if I Airbnb it.

Given there are no HOA to stop me. My city allows Airbnb. The location is a high traffic area.

Is there a rule against Airbnbing your 8 units ( that someone might be aware of).

I m in DFW TX.

Hi @Nandy B. - Having 8 units in one location is ideal for Airbnb. We have multiple quadplexes on Airbnb and they all do really well for a few reasons:

  1. You can actually group the properties to not just be individual units. You can rent the whole complex, groups of 4, groups of 2 and individually. Having that large of variety actually gets you the best returns. Can really charge a premium on the larger groups as there are very few of them in the market.
  2. Can save significantly on things like utilities as you probably don't need to pay for internet at each individual property.
  3. Makes life easier for the cleaning team to have everything in one location as opposed to spread across the city.

Any specific questions I can answer for you?
