day of tenant move out

hi all.

i would like to hear from the professionals here,

when the day your tenant is supposed to move out {or the day earlier}, how do you go about it?

how do you get the keys, make sure they are out etc.

i am not talking about an eviction, i am  referring in a normal situation where the tenant himself wanted to move out

I've just told them I will be entering the property on XYZ date and asked that they leave the keys on the kitchen counter.
