De-Icing Sidewalks/Stairs in Winter for SFHs.

I was wondering how you address de-icing sidewalks/front porches/outside stairs on your SFH rentals. I do currently do not have this topic specifically addressed in my current leases (and probably need to) but I am wondering in times of icy weather, if it is my responsibility to make sure that the front of the house is de-iced to avoid slippery walks, or if you typically address it with your renter and ask them to be on the ball with it. Just trying to avoid any potential challenges down the road! Thanks

Put it in the lease. Tenant responsibility along with lawn care, trash removal, leaves, minimum dwelling temp etc
