Just drove by my rental, the 3rd floor window is broken OUT?!?

She didn’t call, I’m not sure how long it’s been broken, it’s supposed to rain non stop for the next 3 days.

- What is the RIGHT thing to do and say in this situation?

Do I fix it and then bill her?

She is a section 8 tenant....

How do I handle this... what would YOU DO. This is class C urban neighborhood.

Geez man calm down and get ahold of yourself  . This isn’t that serious bro! Figure out a way to cover the window so rain sleet hail and gloom of night doesn’t get in ..Next step find out who the idiot is that screwed it up !  Have a handyman put new glass in it and then bill the tenant for their shenanigans . If they pop off about it tell them your going to call section 8 and they will lose their voucher .
