My husband and I just purchased a four complex apartment in Las Vegas we are new at this and was wondering if there was a list that we could obtain of what questions we need to ask our realtor on what we need to know about being a landlord .... Looking to be very organized on not only our tenants that exist already taxes ,rent and mortgage etc.

@Jennifer Van vlymen Congrats on jumping into the pool. So now you've figured out that you need to know how to swim... Well, I guess there's no better time than now to learn.

1) You don't ask your Realtor about how to be a landlord, you ask a landlord how to be a landlord.

2) The list you seek is one you have to compile yourself after reading books, researching NV tenant/landlord laws, reviewing other landlord's leases, watching videos, listening to podcasts, consulting with an attorney, hiring an accountant, and gathering all of the knowledge you can.

3) The more you know, the easier your investing will be, and the more money you will make. "Beware of little expenses; a small leak will sink a great ship."
