Landlord dealing with rude tenant
Dealing with a tenant who is rude via text correspondence. So I stopped texting her. Can anyone recommend a better way to correspond in order to notify of issues with the apartment? I do not want her texting me any longer with issues.
(Written notice or phone call) I need a better system to alleviate the issues.

You can require a different method of communication but that won't help the rudeness issue. Is the tenant merely rude or rude and unreasonable?
Generally, I endeavor to ignore rudeness and to politely respond only to the content of the (reasonable) request. They probably have other bad things going on in their life that have nothing to do with you.
Most of the time, when you make it clear that you will address the issue, people will eventually apologize for the rudeness or at least adopt a more pleasant tone in the future.
However, there are some tenants who repeatedly make unreasonable demands... I deal with them only in writing and if they are month to month, non-renew.
