Increase in rent for 2 year lease

Good Morning BP,

I have a potential lease signing this week, and the applicant is requesting a two year lease. I agreed with the condition of a slight increase of rent for the second year. Does anyone know of any files in the file place that will put this in writing or should it just be added to a lease addendum?

-TIA

    @Paul DeSilva

    I add additional requirements in my lease where I insert addendums and other requirements.  There is nothing wrong with 2 year, 1 year or month to month leases.  It’s a personal choice if not regulated by your state or city.

    It’s your business and you run it the way you like.  Take the advice here and develop your own philosophy.
