How do I respond to Section 8 inquiries?

We have a unit up for rent. We don’t currently accept section 8 and don’t plan to. But I have a person messaging me about section 8 and after repeated messages of telling him politely that we don’t accept section 8, he keeps pressing. He’s saying now that he’s not in section 8 now, but plans to in a few months and is asking us to get approved in the meantime. I’m just getting a bad vibe.

I don’t want to seem discriminatory, but we just don’t want to do Section 8 at this time.

How do I respond? Or do I just not respond?

@Alyssa Paros

A home has to be inspected and approved to be rented Section 8. If your home hasn't been inspected or approved for Section 8.

Then your honest response is my property is not approved to be rented section 8.
