Where to start when beginning to look for an income property.
My husband and I are beginning to look into investing in a rental property (2-4 unit properties). We have saved enough money to start this process. My question: where to start? How did you start your income property venture? Did you find a broker/lender first or look for properties first?

I would start with a lender (or three) to see what you can qualify for. Then start looking for a REALTOR to help you purchase and a Property Manager to help you manage. Once those are secured, then I would really start looking hard for a property.
