cancel an auction.com deal before closing refund?

I won the bid on a house from auction.com in a neighborhood im very familiar with it seemed like an ok deal that i could work with. 31k average comps is 50-70k this was going to be a hold deal. From people i know in the area (renters of mine in same neighborhood) alot of details came to light about this house and i wanted to cancel. does auction.com give you your 5% EMD back if the title company is holding it? i signed all of their documents and was about to close but never went forward past that.
