Raise rent, pets “free”
Has anybody entertained the idea of raising rent above market say +$75 and allowing up to three animals (Max 2 of any 1 kind) to live “rent free?”
Here it seems pet fees and additional rents are typical.
My thought is instead of increasing rent for an animal raise the standard rent then they won’t lie about number of animals or cheat with pseudo service animals. And I still get additional income.
You more likely wouldn’t get non-pet people but you can open up more income and avoid lies, and cheating tenants.
Any thoughts on this?
