Flooring for a 4 Unit Apt Bldg 

Getting ready to gut the entrance, stairs, and landings of a new property.  I can't decide what type of flooring to put down.  We are in Rochester, NY and we get a fair amount of snow during the winter months.

Any thoughts and rationales would be appreciated...
