I just read about a Real Estate getting killed evicting tenants in the  NY Post.     Are there services that evict tenants?   Should I buy a gun? Bulletproof vest?  Seems like evicting people is very dangerous.

@Philip Ganz Evictions that I have been involved with, the Constable that works for the Magistrate handles this. If he senses resistance then he calls the police or sheriff for backup.

Most people pay or leave when they get the eviction. I have only had once instance were I had to set peoples stuff on the curb while the constable observed. One of the older gentlemen refused to leave and he was taken away in cuffs. He had some mental instability issues. I would say this is very rare.

Let the professionals handle your evictions the legal and proper way. You should never personally be on the property alone trying to carry out an eviction.
