Great Recession & the Florida Multifamily Landscape

Being a new multifamily investor in Florida, I'm interested to know how well multifamily properties held up during the last recession and what I could potentially expect come the next cool down. The majority of my properties are in lower income neighborhoods throughout Northern Florida and are made up of 4 - 12 unit properties.

Any and all insight from knowledgeable FL based investors would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
