Out of state repairs - cost
Hello,
I just got started with my first rental property a few months ago, and I'm facing repairs for the first time. The property is in NC (I'm in WA) so it all goes through a property manager. The repairs were prompted by the storms in the area a couple of months ago, but the list includes both storm related damage along with other stuff.
My questions are:
1. Given that this is being done remotely, what's the best way of making sure all repairs are: a) required and b) done correctly? Should I request before/after pictures? Anything else I should ask for?
2. How can I tell if the costs quoted are reasonable? I'm attaching the list in case something seems too out of line:
Thanks a lot!
