A laundry party...Really?

OK I am a nice guy.  I pay for the water at my apartments.  I don't charge for the use of the fourplex's washer & dryer.

Last weekend I was there one evening, and noticed one of the tenants was having a party.  They were sitting outside with some friends, so my tenant has six other girls there chit chatting drinking beer and having a good time.  No big deal, except they had a laundry basket next to each one of them.

They told me they were having a "laundry party".  They bring their laundry and have a party while they each wash and dry.  These six other girls do not live in my building.

I didn't want to make a scene and embarass my tenant, but come on, you don't have others come take advantage of free laundry.  If you have a BF or a GF that stays overnight once in a while and do laundry...OK, but six additional girl to come do laundry together?

Am I over reacting?  Do I need to add a laundry usage clause into my lease?  or should I start charging?

See if it were me... I would have joined the party cause hey! 6 ladies and booze? what could go wrong :p

all jokes aside. I would just mention it to the tenant the next day and be like...please don't take advantage of that and explain the wear and tear issues. how it would be unfair to other tenants etc. If she had any shred of decency, she wouldn't do it again
