Not Renewing Lease to Tenant- Recommendations Please

Hello everyone. I currently have a tenant that has a lease until November 30th. It is a 13-month lease and I am planning to send them a letter (certified) of my intention to not renew their lease. I know I have to give at least a 30-day notice which I will because I will be sending them the letter this month but I wanted to know if there is anything else I should do during this process? What's the best way to prepare for this process? I am fairly new to this part of land-lording so please give me any suggestions to what else I should do during this process. Thank you all in advanced!
