Vacation Rental Management Contract

Brandon Cleeton
Posted

Hey ya'll!  New to biggerpockets so I apologize if this has been discussed before but I searched and couldn't find what I was looking for.  In the process of starting a vacation rental management company and am having trouble finding a contract I can tailor to my needs.  I would greatly appreciate if someone could share one if they have done this before or help point me in the right direction as I am having no luck!  Thank you and look forward to the responses :)

I would call your local vacation rental management companies, tell them you might be interested in listing a property with them, and ask for theirs.  You are probably going to want to conform to local standards, or at least have a firm understanding of what they are.  Once you have a few examples from a local property management companies, I would mark them with comments, and then engage an attorney to create one for you.

I'm not sure if giving you one we use here in CA, to manage large Estate homes, is going to be as helpful as picking through what is normal in your market area.
